  1. Cyclone says:

How to identify the new nexus 7 (2013) from the previous nexus 7 (2012) when the term “Nexus 7″ is used by itself?

When the Nexus 7 (2012) is updated to 4.3 will all ROMs work for either model or will they still be different?

  2. Joe says:

No, the hardware is different. Also, the 2012 model has already been updated to 4.3

  3. Ismael says:

Is it safe to assume that (aside from backing up for safety) that this can possibly be dirty flashed without wiping first, if you’re just running rooted, stock Android (4.3)?

    • admin says:

Yup, I did a dirty flash and worked just fine. But do make a backup ROM just in case.

      • Ismael says:

Groovy. Thanks a lot. Now if I can just figure out why I can’t transfer my TWRP backup to my desktop. For now…I think I’ll just blame Windows 8. ;-p

  4. Mauricio says:
