Looking for the “best” ROM for your Nexus 7 that’s most stable and also gives you fully customizable experience?
Look no further than AOKP’s latest MR1 ROM. Based on Android 4.2.1, the AOKP ROM brings you full features of Android 4.2.1 plus many customizations.
As for me, I am using AOKP’s ROM Control settings to turn my soft keys into my launcher shortcuts. And by using toggle option for notifications and shortcuts, I can effectively use the whole screen as shown in the video.
Besides that, the latest AOKP brings you the ability to put “any” of your favorite widgets on your lockscreen with unlimited number of widgets. Although AOKP says this is an experimental feature it works quite well on the quad-core device.
There’s many other customizations on the AOKP ROM that allows you to fully utilize the power of Android 4.2.1 on your Nexus 7 so go ahead, flash this and you tell me if you like it or not, I think this is the best ROM that’s most stable and gives you a load of options over others.
