For those of you who want to upgrade to Android 4.3 that just came out today, if you are on stock ROM, you can just do the OTA update. However, if you are rooted or on a custom ROM, you will probably want to install Android 4.3 ROM instead of unrooting and updating. This will allow you to keep root and also your custom recovery such as ClockworkMod or TWRP.
This Android 4.3 ROM is exactly identical to the official Android 4.3 except with root and it’s easy to install, installation is same as installing any other custom ROM. Now, to get root working fully, don’t forget to also flash the special version of SuperSU in CWM recovery after installing ROM.
As far as Android 4.3 changes go, there are subtle changes in many menus and the biggest difference should be better performance and excellent battery life over Android 4.2.
If you need to try Android 4.3, grab the files below and go for it!
To install, reboot into recovery, make a backup ROM (just in case), wipe data/factory reset (unless coming from stock ROM), install ROM, install Root Fix SuperSU, and reboot!
