Rooted on a custom ROM with Nexus 7? Want to update to the latest official Android 4.2.2?
Android 4.2.2 was pushed out couple days ago and you can now easily get Android 4.2.2 with root for your Nexus 7 (and also 3G version) easily by flashing the ROM in your ClockworkMod/TWRP recovery.
Latest Android 4.2.2 brings more stability and faster speed so definitely try out the official version first.
This is basically identical to the stock firmwares provided by Google but deodexed (better for mods and themes) with root and busybox installed so you don’t have to unroot your tablet.
If you haven’t tried Android 4.2.2 yet, give it a go and let me know what you think!
To install, reboot into recovery, make a backup ROM (just in case), then install ROM. You should be able to flash it fine from any Android 4.2.1 custom ROMs btw.
